Best Free Instant Messaging iOS Apps

Even if social media websites are the ones holding the true internet supremacy, it seems like instant messaging is still quite interesting. Personally I spend great time on IM from my iTouch everyday and I can say that iOS applications come with greatest instant messaging management available.
I know that everyone of you knows about Yahoo Messenger, AIM Messenger, MSN Messenger and of course Skype and that’s why I wouldn’t like to focus on that, but rather on multi-protocol instant messaging apps. All of these apps can help you connect to multiple social media websites and at the same time replace them and offer you even more comfort by creating a fusion between popular IM apps out there.+
1. eBuddy Free

One of the most popular multi-protocol instant messaging application for iOS and not only. Currently, eBuddy has been downloaded for more than 5 million times and it is specialized in offering access to GTalk, Yahoo Messenger, MySpace, Facebook, Hyver, ICQ and many others.
2. iGotChat

Cross-platform IM app available for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. It is quite popular thanks to features like multi-media support, group chat enabled and innovative poking system. It also has a social friendly interface that allows you to post on Twitter and Facebook.
3. Fuze Messenger

Either we talk about Yahoo Messenger, Google Talk, Facebook, AIM or even Microsoft Office Communication Server (OCS), Fuze Messnger can provide you with a nice user interface and the possibility to use keyboard in landscape mode.
4. Palringo

Gives you access to popular services like Google Talk, Yahoo Messenger etc. and it also helps you to make some new friends by giving you the possibility to connect to over 300,000 social groups for free.
5. Meebo

This is an application created based on the popular online application with the same name. Meebo is the fastest growing online application for multi-protocol instant messaging and now you can have it for free on your iPhone. The bad thing though is that you need to register on Meebo.com in order to use it, but it takes less than 2 minutes and it’s free.
6. IMO Instant Messenger

I consider IMO IM to be very minimalist and professional focusing on chatting while using few of your smartphone’s resources. Still, it helps you connect to Facebook, Google Talk, AIM and a large list of less popular platforms.
7. IM+

Not yet another simple IM app, but a complex one which acctually can give you detailed stats about the one you chat with on Google Talk, YM, Facebook, ICQ or AIM including Google Maps locations.
